Orthopedics and pain therapy are the first and most active research areas of ORTHOGEN. Our methods have been clinically applied in these areas for over 25 years. Molecular orthopaedics, as the main component of our research, has long shown that many orthopaedic diseases are conditions that are not only caused by mechanical wear but result from a complex interaction of molecular and biochemical signals. Most orthopedic diseases are affected in the short or long term by inflammation, other biomolecular changes and often by a regenerative deficiency. We try to understand the basic molecular causes of pain and disease in order to enable targeted causal treatments. We follow a comprehensive and physiological approach to restore the natural balance and healthy conditions in diseased tissue. We aim to provide sustainable, non-surgical, individualized treatment alternatives.
